Treatments for peripheral vascular disease

vascular programme

Diseases of the lower limbs include a wide variety of medical conditions that cause stenosis or occlusion of the lumen of the venous or arterial vessel, cutting blood supply to the tissues.

With our vascular treatment in thermal water we can treat diseases such as the following:

  • Sequelae of chronic phlebitis
  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • Surgical outcomes or sequelae
  • Varicose veins in lower extremities

The vascular procedure involves two tanks, a 9 m tub of cold water (24 °C) and a 9 m tub of warm water (34 °C) with a whirlpool system.

Hydrokinesis therapy

Hydrokinesis therapy takes advantage of the physical and chemical properties of water, and is indicated for treating movement disorders.

The treatment at the spa combines the water's curative action with exercise that is comfortable and safe without the need to know how to swim.

Thanks to the immersion in the pool, the weight of the body is reduced by almost 90% and is thus able to perform rehabilitation exercises with less effort, obtaining excellent

therapeutic results in a short time.

The water temperature, which varies from 34 °C to 36 °C, has a positive effect on the muscles, joints

and nervous system.

Pool therapy is fun, relaxing and combines the beneficial effects of the thermal spa's hot waters with those of physical exercise, promoting general well-being of the body.
