The Waters of the Euganeo thermal basin come from the uncontaminated basins of the Lessini Mountains, In the Alpine foothills.

The waters flow into the ground to a depth of 2000-3000 metres, and over a few decades, flow about 80 km, becoming enriched with minerals, until they reach the Terme Euganee, which flow at temperatures above 80 °C.
